Sweet Tea is one of twenty solar assets owned and operated under the name North Carolina Solar. A ground mount system over a 38.3 acre (155,000 square meter) area in Craven County, North Carolina; the Sweet Tea site has the capacity to generate 4.7 megawatts of renewable energy.
With 10,872 two by one meter solar panels installed, Sweet Tea came on stream in May 2021 and is fully contracted to the Duke Energy Progress.
The site uses First Solar 6435A modules, Kaco Blueplanet 150 TL3 inverters and an RBI Solar fixed-tilt mounting system.
