Solar Lee is one of twenty solar assets owned and operated under the name North Carolina Solar. A ground mount system over a 33.9 acre (137,000 square meter) area in Wayne County, North Carolina; the Solar Lee site has the capacity to generate 6.7 megawatts of renewable energy.
With 15,480 two by one meter solar panels installed, Solar Lee came on stream in March 2021 and is fully contracted to the Duke Energy Progress.
The site uses First Solar 6435 modules, Kaco BluePlant 150 TL3 inverters and an RBI Solar single-axis tracker mounting system.
